Prenscia User Group Meeting delivers interactive experience for attendees
For over a decade, hundreds of engineers have attended the nCode UGM to learn from application-based user stories, product updates and best practices to design. This highly anticipated event has attracted test and CAE engineers keen to see new capabilities, to collaborate with fellow professionals and to optimize their use of nCode technology, not only in the greater Detroit area but also further afield on a global scale.
New this year, the 2019 Prenscia User Group Meeting welcomed both nCode and ReliaSoft users to experience a newly designed format that delivered greater engagement with experts and product managers, as well as hands-on usage of ReliaSoft and nCode products. Attendees also had the unique opportunity to hear Joe Vorih, President of HBK, provide a brief introduction to the vision and joint activities of Brüel & Kjær and HBM, united to deliver solutions as HBK on January 1, 2019. The two-day agenda offered an ideal mix of presentations delivered by users and in-house experts, combined with hands-on workshops and other collaborative learning concepts to bring users closer to the tailored solutions they require to get products to market faster with increased durability and reliability.

We really wanted to offer a different experience for our UGM attendees, especially those returning year after year. By introducing workshops, attendees were able to get hands on experience with the products, giving them a chance to interact with the new capabilities and relate the best practices and technology to their everyday challenges. It’s important to us that people left empowered to take the experience gained at the UGM and apply to their work back on site.

Customer presentations
Remaining a cornerstone of the UGM, this year’s event was fortunate to feature user presentations from some of the most respected engineers within their relevant fields of expertise. The generosity of presenters in sharing their knowledge and experience is one of the key ingredients in making the Prenscia User Group Meeting as valuable of an experience as it is.

Product launch
Additionally, this year’s UGM featured the launch of the new nCodeDS technology for performing streamed data analytics. nCodeDS (Digital Streams) is set to transform the speed of processing of large datasets of measured sensor data within Aqira at more than 10 times faster than existing tools. Learn more about nCodeDS in the article, “Breakthrough in Streamed Data Analytics.”
It was great to have instant positive feedback from customers regarding nCodeDS. Our existing reputation and strengths for the efficient processing measured data serve as a great foundation for us to build on and expand to provide a solution for our customers’ challenges. Of course, the launch is just the start of what you will hear about nCodeDS and I am looking forward to interacting with more customers over the coming months so they can see the value for themselves
